Fort Ticonderoga
We Toders went to Fort Ticonderoga on Tuesday. The weather was beautiful. We saw the musket demonstration and learned about the way the soldiers lived two hundred years ago. We read the diaries of some of the soldiers who fought in different battles there. Fort Ticonderoga has two names and Fort Carillon is the French name. We walked in the King's Garden and saw the different beds being put to rest for the winter. There was a frog in the fountain. Was it real? we wondered. After a while, we saw it move! See you next summer, Fort Ticonderoga!
